As the contribution period comes to an end, I have outlined a guide to the tasks I plan to complete during the 3-month Outreachy internship.

Pre-Outreachy period
Familiarize myself with Fedora and the upcoming community events scheduled for the next three to four months.
Gain an understanding of Red Hat, the downstream of Fedora, and their contributions to the Fedora project.
Connect with Fedora mentors and engage with the community.
Prepare a blog post to announce the release of Linux 40, highlighting its resolved issues and unique features.
Month 1
Week 1- Project Kickoff and Onboarding: (May 27 - May 31, 2024)
Create June social media content and marketing plan.
Announce the DevConf scheduled to be held in Brno, Czech Republic from June 13-15, 2024.
Create a community social media hashtag contest for #devconf_cz #fedora and #devconf_cz. The contestant with the highest engagement will be featured on our blog site, boosting awareness of the events.
Month 2
Week 2: (June 3 - 7, 2024)
Measure the Ads traffic from the DevConf social media post.
Start a 3-day social media countdown to DevConf engagement post with facts and FAQs posts.
Post DevConf activities on social media.
Post a bi-weekly Outreachy blog on my experience becoming a Fedora Intern.
Week 3: (June 10- 14, 2024)
- Work with mentors on defining an outreach strategy 2028 for the global project.
Week 4: (June 17 - 21, 2024)
Announce Test Days.
Feature the winner of last month's community social media hashtag contest on our blog site or social media platform.
Work on technical documentation.
Week 5: (June 24 - 28, 2024)
Announce Flock-to-Fedora 2024 Annual Conference.
Create a June social media plan with mentors.
Post bi-weekly Outreachy blog.
Month 3
Week 6: (July 1 - 5, 2024)
Write a blog to announce the Open Source submit Europe (Austria) event in September.
Advertise on social media.
Measure its impact.
Week 7: (July 8 - 12, 2024)
Post bi-weekly Outreachy blog.
Create a blog and social media post to announce Fedora speaker at the upcoming Open Source Community Africa Festival (OSCAFEST) event in Nigeria.
Create a video with the previous for the upcoming flock to Fedora conference.
Week 8: (July 15 - 19,2023)
Announce Test Days.
Monthly community social media hashtag contest for #flocktofedora and #fedora.
Week 9: (July 22 - 26, 2024)
Work on defining an outreach strategy for the global project.
